Mr. Hironori Miura

For more than 30 years, I have worked to improve computer science and digital education in Saga Prefecture, serving as both a teacher and an educational administrator.

Saga was once recognized as one of Japan's leading regions in ICT education. However, as we enter the age of AI, I believe there is still significant potential for further growth and innovation.

In April 2026, I was honored to be appointed as the Saga Branch Representative of ICSEC (International Computer Science Education Consortium).

Through this role, I hope to contribute to ICSEC's international community while also helping connect educators and stakeholders in Saga with colleagues and initiatives around the world. By building these connections, I aim to support the continued advancement of AI and computer science education in the region.

I look forward to working with partners both in Japan and internationally to create more opportunities for students to thrive in the digital era.

Experience vibe coding and build an app using only words.

Morning Session: 10:00-12:00

Create an app that makes Saga a better place by using open data from Saga Prefecture.

Afternoon Session: 14:00-16:00

Experience "vibe coding" and discover how AI can turn your ideas and words into an app.

Audience: Students from Grade 4 through junior high school, accompanied by a parent or guardian

Fee: Free

Venue: SAGA Machinaka Lab, 2-3-16 Shirayama, Saga City

Bring: A personal or guardian-owned computer

Schools in Saga can request a visit from Mr. Hironori Miura. He can work with your school to introduce students and educators to computer science, AI, and creative digital learning.
